Terminalia bellerica is an ancient Ayurvedic plant that bears an edible
fruit. A tannin-rich extract derived from this fruit has been shown in a

levels were reduced by 28.4%, with no reported adverse side effects. A total
of 89% of participants achieved targeted serum uric acid levels.
